Crow’s Nest

The Crow’s Nest Nature Preserve in Stafford, Virginia is a huge nature preserve comprised of tidal and non-tidal wetlands and mature hardwood forest. There are lots of hiking paths and a launch dock for your kayak. There are 22 miles of streams and waterfront. Both the Potomac and Accokeek creeks are a part of this preserve. There are great fishing spots inside Crow’s Nest where you can find more than 49 species of fish. If birds are more your speed, you can see more than 60 species of birds, including bald eagles!

This bridge takes you over the wetlands to the kayak launch dock.
